Actually, I lived down the autobahn in Lahr were I worked at Canadian Forces Network from 76 to 78. But I did play 18 holes at Baden Hills Golf Course one summer day! In fact, I have just written a story about that for my golf blog (www.eagleparbirdie.com).

My broadcast partner, Rick Gibbons, and I broadcast the departure parade of one of the regiments in Baden - I think they headed back to Edmonton.

I'm thrilled to find this site. I think often and fondly of my two years as an announcer with CFN. Those were among the best years (so far!)of my life. Good on you guys for maintaining this terrific piece of forces history! All the best.
