Season's Greetings to all. Was just surfing the net for info for my son who is going to Germany in January , to visit Lahr (his birth place )( we were posted to lahr from 85 - 89 ) anyway found this site again ( have not seen it for a long while ) and was going thru the message board, whoa the memories come flooding back.
Then reality hits home as it often does. The passing of Jigger Johnson. The Pipemajor kept my arse out of the sling more times then I care to remember. He taught me the pipes and taught me that there really are kind, caring people out there. To his family I send my deepest condolences. At 50 I didn't think that hearing about something like this would hit me very hard. I WAS WRONG. as I wipe a tear away, God Bless you Jigger.
