Jim 'Jigger" Johnston --It is with great sadness that Dr. Michael Johnston and I said goodbye to Jigger on August 5, 2008. Jim passed away peacefully with Michael and I able to care for him at home. Jigger was a fighting man right to the end as he battled cancer for 6 years. We spoke often of our 2 tours to Baden (1976-81 and 86-88) and the great friends we encountered there. To all members of the Baden Pipe Band he spoke of the great times and the pleaure he had working with you. I would like to thank all those who have sent kind words and thoughts. He will be sadly missed-a good man,friend,father and husband
