hello everyone

this might be slightly strange as i was not based at baden and i am not actually canadian.

i do have a memory of the base however, i visited one xmas with my hockey team for the kids tournament. we used to walk to the base every morning from the little town just outside the base. planes on columns by the entrance if i remember rightly? the ice rink was just inside the gate, i loved my short visit to baden, watching people curling in the bar by the rink was quite unusual for a kid from england!!. but my one memory that will always stick with me is going to the base cinema to watch "the untouchables" with kevin costner. everytime i see that film it reminds me of a enjoyable, if short time i had in the company of the good people of the canadian military at CFB baden.
