I read with interest Tex Kennedy's ramble about 4 Wing is 1955 and his name rang a bell for me although I can't seem to put a face to it. I was NCO i/c Wing Snack Bar for most of 1955 and 3/4 of 1956.

A few of the names Tex mentioned are familiar to me and even some I am still in touch with. Ray Lalonde is in Kemptville Ont,I had coffee with Norm Stouffer in July at Trenton, Jack Little was my barrack roomate for a time in 1955, i was stationed with Muck Reading and another Hockey Player who I think was from 422 Ewan MacDonald in Uplands in the early 70's, Murray Titmarsh who played for HDQ is in Barrie Ont, and I am presently living in Cape Breton.

If anyone is really interested in 4 Wing during that period I suggest they check out Base History on this website and read Guy Fortier's Īs that all you do - play in the band"

Only one correction Tex - Martel put his beautiful white car in the Rhine not a slough.
