I was in 4 Wing from 67 to 71 and back fron 78 to 82. I met my wife Sue at the October Fest in 67, she was from Vancouver about 3 blocks from where I used to live. She was travelling Europe with Betsy Lepinski. My daughter Colleen was born in Lahr. We had a wonderful time there. The only part I didn't like was sitting inside a bunker during the alerts. It really wasn't that bad. I Worked in the A and B phase labs for almost all of my 2 tours as a 521 trade Integral Systems Tech. I retired in Edmonton in 1984 and have been working for Dow Chemical as and Intrument Analyzer Technologist ever since. I keep trying to retire. When I do, Sue and I are going to return to Baden for more of that fine food and wine that we were forced to endure at the tax payers expense. I'd be glad to hear from any of my old friends. A good friend lives at Bittern Lake AB, Kerry Grettum and wife Dora,some of you may remember them.
