Hello Everyone.

I was a summer student R.E.S.O.(P) Padre at Baden in 1989.

I can't reallly call my self a true veteran of the experience because of my very short posting but to quote another Padre we know and love, 'jeepers creepers!' what a summer that was. The whole experience made quite an impression on me.

As that summer approached, I didn't know whether I'd be going to Cold Lake, Esquimalt or Valcartier. I never would have believed that I would be going to the closest thing to paradise this side of heaven.

Within an hour of arriving I was sunbathing on the banks of the Rhine and assisting in opening the second bottle of Riesling.

There was some hard work involved, no, really!, but it was a joy.

Thanks to all of you who have become such fond memories and who shaped who I am as Priest.

Thanks for the joy of worshipping together and thanks for treating a summer shad like one of the family.

I am now the Chaplain at Royal St. George's College in Toronto and having a total blast. They all call me Padre.
