Hello RCAF
I was a civillan installing radar/intruments in F86 Sabres, and made good friends of Fred Olney who I correspond with in Ardmore AB Near Cold Lake. I was at Baden for about six months and could not believe the wonderful food we had after what we were eating in UK.Before I came out I served my time in the RAF and the food was inedible. I recall the ice hockey games, the Munchen Ocktober Bier fest,the Holloween party in the Mess. I really enjoyed the friendship I encounted by all i met.
