2004-02-17 19:18:57 (GMT 0) ATTENTION ALL BADEN SENIOR SCHOOL GRADUATES and TEACHERS- John Witzing and I are in the very early stages of planning the long awaited Baden Senior School Reunion. The Reunion would likely occur in Toronto (central location) sometime late this year, or early next year. We would like to put together a mailing list for invitations. As such, could everyone interested in attending this event (the Reunion would likely occur over the course of a weekend) please send your mailing addresses to either of us. Though the focus of the reunion would be the last 4-5 years of classes at the school, all would be welcome. WE WOULD VERY MUCH LOVE TO HEAR FROM TEACHERS AS WELL!!

congratulation on that great website. It is quite late that I found it, but I did.
Being German and living close to Hügie, I spent a lot of time with you Canadians, especially in the arena (watching and later even timekeeping for Hockey) or dreaming of owing one of those Harleys some of you guys were riding.
After all these years, still miss the days back then and the people I met (due to the distance, I lost the contact to so many friends).
If there is anyone out there reading this and remembering me, it would be great, if you drop a few lines.

I met allot of friends, some of them I keep in touch with, others I lost track of. I recently married to my soul mate. She knows little of Germany but I speak of it often. I hope to visit Baden again soon as I've been informed there has been drastic changes to the area. The hugie beer tent, the room international, the canadian club. the ambassador lounge, the various local beer tents..The condom machine at the Linde in weitenung.....wow. I enjoy to see the folks from the sixties and seventies log on as well. I was lucky enough to be involved with 2PPCLI from 84-88...I'am so proud of the boys and their determination and taskings. Especially the Todds, Perrolla's and the boys from those heady germany days that are still in..Who would of thought???My heart goe's out to you! and when I think of that nightmare of 2 PPCLI going to Shilo...Well the beers are on me in 2004, the closing ceromonies..so lets party or for those who have forgotten their background, they can SUCK MY ARSE....greg

12:36:21 (GMT 0) Also for me, a while since checking on this site. For those who did not know, a former AERE man - Bernie Barrett retired from Cold Lake to a place in BC. He died last winter and this year a memorial was erected at the golf course in his memory.And yes, I will be at Cool Pool for the future. Even 10 yr. after taking the FRP of 1992, I still see people in uniform that I worked with here.
There was a Tiger Meet of the Americas last week at the 'new' 4 Wing Cold Lake, with an open house on 13 Sept.
